Last Saturday, the Front Range Pythoneers tackled some Jython tasks. Specifically, we want to get IPython and Django working on Jython.

I spent most of the session reading Java code and orienting myself, but I did contribute a couple patches. And I now have a much better understanding of Jython. I think I can start contributing, and I think Jython is quite important strategically.

I guess all I'm trying to say here is--please help out the Jython project in any way possible. It's worthwhile.
