Updated Since a depressingly large number of people have asked...yes, I got an iPhone. I ordered from the Apple store since I was too beat to stand in line after a few days in Milwaukee.

Update Ok, on Tuesday Ramona and I had lunch at 29th Street, and had to check out the Apple Store. To our surprise, they had lots of 8GB iPhones. We bought mine on the spot and cancelled our web order. Nothing like instant gratification.

Yes, it really is as well-designed as you've heard. The Calendar application is wimpy compared to what I had on the Treo 650, and the data speeds on the EDGE network really suck...just like they did on the Treo. Other than that, I'm in geeky heaven.
