About Sprout
Sprout.org was born in the heart of Silicon Valley in 1996, when the Boersmas were starting a family. Domain names were plentiful, and we are computer people, so we staked our claim and immediately began to annoy our relatives with pictures of our son and our pets.
Ramona is a huge fan of Samurai movies, so she added articles and pictures to Sprout that eventually became ToshiroMifune.org. She's made a lot of other nice websites since. Maybe she'll blog here too, eventually.
Matt finally got a chance to look upward from his database coding and found Django, which he hopes will give Sprout.org a new lease on life. If nothing else, it's been fun recreating this website.
But fundamentally, Sprout.org is still our little soapbox for pontificating, agitating, and annoying our relatives with baby pictures. As it should be.
